"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams

Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.

Choose, then shut up and accept the consequences.

This goes along perfectly with the previous post today.

Get on out there and VOTE your life away.

"Give us a King".

Here you go.

Leave God alone, you have chosen whom you will serve.

1 Samuel 8:10-18

10 So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. 11 He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his chariots and to be his horsemen and to run before his chariots. 12 And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14  He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. 15 He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. 16 He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men[a] and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 1He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. 18 And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.”

  2. Christians, read well the warning at the end, HE WILL NOT ANSWER YOU IN THAT DAY, get off your knees!!! Do NOT tell me servitude is righteousness, God will reward your participation and lending of legitimacy and your desire for power through servitude, the willingness to be a part of this oppressive evil power over men even to the point of being the oppressed if only to be a part of power at all, with SILENCE!! In the day you cry out, too late is tomorrow, get off your knees,
What is the state if not force??? How can any of us accept this?? Why is it we fear our government when government is us?? Are we so evil? Or is it the lust for power is great that to behold it is love? Embracing all that oppresses is evil is it not? What can be more evil than to come against a fellow man? Is it not the ONLY REAL unfufferable crime??? How is it we allow the insufferable to come upon others and ourselfs in the name of none crimes?? There can be no crime outside of coming against another man! Yet we allow and condone "government" (us) to come against (us) violently??? Would not justice really be to fight against this CRIME??? The government and it's use of compulsory everythin through force IS THE ONLY CRIME

  3. The very fabric of law and economics is governence, common law to all men is governence, governence is law, government is Compulsary governence through force, we asked for this, that we would not self govern but be governed over, for the people by the people....yes government is for the people and enforced by the people, to participate in government is to say you do not believe in self government,if you do not believe in self government how is it you beleive in persons from this same pool of governenceless peers to lord over you? To not just uphold what is defined in the constraints of governence but to decide what those constraints are? And Worse still to decide what the cost and quality is? There is no higher law than government and one can make no appeal above the head of government, it is the abitraiitor in its own disputes, won't it always rule in its own favor? Setting the conditions to aggravate squalor since it can turn it to its own advantage?isent it really a question of ownership? Do I own my body? If I do not then who does? Can I share ownership? Can I be jointly owned? Can I assert self governence while being governed? Can the state with its monopoly on the use of force and interpretation of what is law and it's limitless power to tax and legislate law claim ownership of me? If I cannot have governence but rather am compelled by government than I cannot claim ownership of my physical body, and since we cannot be jointly owned we are property since the original and ending appropriation of ourselfs is government, Aaron B
