"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams

Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.
Please join us!

Dr. Thomas DiLorenzo

Dr. DiLorenzo will be joining us on the Patriot's Lament radio show tomorrow in the first hour. (9am AK time)
We will be discussing the Liefare/Warfare state, and expose the State warmongers for what they are. War criminals.
I am sure that we will discuss the American people's stupid gullibility and the so called "Christian church's" lust for war and blood. Whatever happened to Matthew 5??

In the second hour, our friend and local radical for Liberty Frank Turney will join us to discuss the history of the Jury, and the power the Jury has, and the Founding Fathers that stood for the Right of the Jury to judge the law. As Jefferson said, law (positive law) was merely the will of Tyrants. Google 660 KFAR and click on  "Listen Live" if you are out of the range of the station.

Tune in! It promises to be another good program!

Larken Rose asks an uncomfortable question to the sheeple

In the 20th century, there were about 280,000 murders worldwide by private people against other private people. During this same time, States killed about 260,000,000 of their "own" people, and were responsible for around 416,000,000 people total. From whom are we more in danger of being killed? The State is the most dangerous entity known to mankind.

Ben Stone (Bad Quaker) at Porcfest

Ben Stone talks about the religion of the State.

So you want to be ruled?

If you want to be ruled you're MORE likely to do something incredibly evil.

There is some moderately strong language.

Patriot's Lament May 4, 2013: Being A Patriot and All Is Not Lost

In this episode we talk about those elite killers that take on the mighty and evil terrorists!!
Who are these brave warriors? Punks who sit behind a computer screen and kill little kids 7000 miles away from them using a drone. This practice is so disgusting, if you know a drone pilot you should do your best to make that person as uncomfortable as you can when meeting them or confronting them. Instead of getting esteem from people, they should feel our disgust in what they do for a living. Mock them. We also talk about an incident in Alaska where the State is exposed on camera violating a person.

Patriot's Lament April 27, 2013: When The Bomb Went Off and Onerous Gun Laws

Matt Want joins us again, and along with Claudio, we discuss the Boston bombing, and more to the point, the terrorist State, and the actions that they took in shutting down Boston.
It's funny, Boston went along with its life after the bombing, it was actually the State that shut it down looking for the accused bomber.

Patriot's Lament April 20, 2013: Stay In Your Home and Hel San American

In this episode we talk about the USSA Stasi fomenting martial law in Boston, we lament over the fact that the Bostonians bowed like sheep, and there was absolutely no resistance to this tyranny. Welcome to the new America.
Where are Samuel Adams and his Sons of Liberty?

Patriot's Lament April 13, 2013: Serve The Market and They Dont Own Them

In this episode we talk about Melissa Perry, and her little promo where she says that children are not their parent's, but they belong to the community, and the community should invest in them. We ask at what size does a community or a group of people have to get to to where a arbitrary entity with the monopolized power of force and taxation is needed.

Patriot's Lament April 6, 2013: Arbitrary Law and Unless People Want Freedom

In this episode Matt Want, former borough assemblymen sits in for Steve Floyd, we go around and around and generally have a fun time. We talk about Statist pig Dick Durbin telling us that "no Rights are absolute." Of course the State thinks this way.
We refute that claim, of course.

Patriot's Lament March 16, 2013: Get On The Train and Lament

In this episode we talk about exercising our Rights, and we talk about the world elite, new world order folks that want to rule the world, and we suggest that without our consent, even these who are mere people, have no power over us that we do not allow them to have.

Using the State

A caller today cited a small repeal of law favoring unions as an example of voting to increase liberty. The state advances on MANY fronts simultaneously. It is willing to accept a small retrenchment in one place as the cost of taking huge swaths of liberty elsewhere. And this assumes that the retrenchment is actually a restoration of liberty, which it rarely is.
Working against the
state in the state's paradigm is like battling an army which uses your own logistics to support its troops. This is a losing strategy. Cut it off where it is weak, not where it is strong.

The state's paradigm is aggressive violence and the threat thereof. It has a comparative advantage in violence precisely because it is peopled primarily by sociopaths and people who are okay helping sociopaths so long as there is no personal responsibility associated with helping sociopaths (just following orders/just doing my job, etc).

Anyone who tries to draw you into the realm of violence is either unwise or an agent provocateur. Don't fall for it. As the state has more and more obvious failures and meets more resistance it will try to find people it can Goldstein (blame for its failures and demonize). Any even hint of violence or willingness to perpetrate violence will only drive the scared masses deeper into the pen they live their lives in. Remember the herd is both envious and afraid of people with true freedom. Neither emotion leads to clear thinking.
