I love this song, not to mention the band, yes, one of my favorites when I was a much younger man.
You say you're getting tired of the spiritual march, your life is slowly growing cold.
Life just seems so much harder: all the battles day by day.
That's when we must stand up and be bold.
Be bold.
So, let us not grow weary in doing what is right.
God shall renew our strength to fight.
Remember, we reap what we sow.
Flesh sows corruption,
Spirit everlasting life.
It's yours.
We shall reap - if we faint not.
Seeing that we have a great high priest, Jesus: the Son of God.
In all points tempted as we are.
Sinless, He won the battle; given power to His own.
Look up, your redemption is not afar.
Be ready.
We shall reap - if we faint not.Another song that I like a lot, "What a Joke," has these lyrics: "Law enforcement, politicians, and businessmen, these days for most of them, corruption is a synonym."
That's awesome. I listen to Deliverance all the time- W.O.O.W. Is one of my favorite albums.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Joke was the first Deliverance song I ever heard.
Ever see the video to "weapons"? :-)
Oh yeah I have, "Weapons" is one of my favorites of all time.
DeleteAaron and I used "Temporary Insanity" in one of our "Bennetts for Borough" radio ads. LOL it was awesome.

Wish I heard it!
Deliverance is my go-to music when lifting, and I once shot a few courses of Mk 19 gunnery while in the army with Deliverance's "Weapons" album blasting in my headphones. That was cool.
My kids love "Happy Star". :-D
