In this episode we talk about Libertarian Founding Fathers and their views on the Ultimate Sovereignty of the people, and a Persons Right to Secede. We also encourage folks to not waste their time trying to "fix" the government and politics.
"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams
Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.
Please join us!

Patriot's Lament December 15, 2012: Bill of Rights Death and Flee Babylon
In this episode, on the anniversary of the u.s. Bill of Rights, we talk about how the Bill of Rights is dead, and has been since they were codified into the constitution. We reject class warfare, but understand there is a "Ruling class" that is at war with the Ruled class. We talk about nullification, and about the latest school shooting. We ask why we are so upset with a school shooting, but not the murder of 40 children by the State at Waco. Why was there no outcry when Sammy Weaver, a 14-year-old boy, was shot in the BACK by the State??!! We go on to mock "Smaller government" and we talk about the relationship between drugs given to school kids and the prescription drugs that ALL of the shooters in mass killing have been on since 1998.

I was listening to this today and decided to repost it. Get it out of your head. There is no Santa Claus, tooth fairy, or State nullification.
This is a total police State.

Let your vote always be, "NOT GUILTY"!
New Hampshire actually did something almost completely right. Jury Nullification.
Now people, make a real change and NULLIFY the State.
This is excellent. I hope the folks of New Hampshire jump on their newly found, but always their Right to do, shut down the State.
Good to see most of the comments are positive towards it too.
A reminder, this "law" isn't giving anything to the Jury that they didn't already have, maybe it will just help to wake a few jurors up.
Pay close attention to the one dissenting vote, some commie statist who thinks that the state and its law is god, and of course it is, she is the one who makes "law". "Makes law". Hah. If a man can make law, it's no law you should follow.

"We are bound, you, I, and every one to make common cause even with error itself, to maintain the common right of freedom of conscience," Thomas Jefferson to Edward Dowse, 1803
The great object of my fear is the Federal Judiciary. That body, like gravity, ever acting with noiseless foot and unalarming advance, gaining ground step by step and holding what it gains, is engulfing insidiously the special governments into the jaws of that which feeds them." -- Thomas Jefferson to Spencer Roane, 1821.
"By the bill of rights of England, a subject has a right to a trial by his peers. What is meant by his peers? Those who reside near him, his neighbors, and who are well aquainted with his character and situation in life." Patrick Henry, (Elliont,The Debates in the Several State Conventions on the Adoption of the Federal Constitution, 3:579).
"Why do we love this trial by jury? Because it prevents the hand of oppression from cutting you off...This gives me comfort - that, as long as I have existence, my neighbors will protect me."Patrick Henry (Elliot, 3:545, 546)
"Jury lawlessness is the greatest corrective of law in its actual administration. The will of the state at large imposed on a reluctant community, the will of a majority imposed on a vigorous and determined minority, find the same obstacle in the local JURY that formerly confronted kings and ministers."US v. Dougherty
