"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams

Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.

BREAKING: French protests getting more violent

Things are getting pretty serious in France. It will be interesting to see when/if the government decides it has had enough and cracks down.
These French may wish they weren’t so progressive and actually had guns...

Larken Rose asks an uncomfortable question to the sheeple

In the 20th century, there were about 280,000 murders worldwide by private people against other private people. During this same time, States killed about 260,000,000 of their "own" people, and were responsible for around 416,000,000 people total. From whom are we more in danger of being killed? The State is the most dangerous entity known to mankind.

Patriot's Lament May 4, 2013: Being A Patriot and All Is Not Lost

In this episode we talk about those elite killers that take on the mighty and evil terrorists!!
Who are these brave warriors? Punks who sit behind a computer screen and kill little kids 7000 miles away from them using a drone. This practice is so disgusting, if you know a drone pilot you should do your best to make that person as uncomfortable as you can when meeting them or confronting them. Instead of getting esteem from people, they should feel our disgust in what they do for a living. Mock them. We also talk about an incident in Alaska where the State is exposed on camera violating a person.

Our Enemy, The State

I know I have used this headline before, but, read the story and you will more than likely agree, it's the correct heading.
From Will Grigg's Pro Libertate:

Police Chief Ed Flynn of Milwaukee believes that his department is at war with the gun-owning public. In his February 27 testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Flynn claimed that “in the last 20 years we’ve been in an arms race” with private citizens who supposedly out-gun the police.

Flynn testified in support of a proposed federal ban on so-called assault weapons. But in the past he has made it clear that he considers a Mundane carrying a firearm of any kind is an unlawful enemy combatant subject to detention and forcible disarmament.

“My message to my troops is if you see anybody carrying a gun on the streets of Milwaukee, we’ll put them on the ground, take the gun away, and then decide whether you have a right to carry it,” Flynn said a few years ago in response to a statement from Wisconsin Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen recognizing that residents of the state have a right to carry firearms openly.

Grigg goes on to quote the great Albert Jay Nock; ""Everyone knows that the State claims and exercises [a] monopoly of crime ... and that it makes this monopoly as strict as it can…. It punishes private theft, but itself lays unscrupulous hands on anything it wants, whether the property of citizen or of alien.... Of all the crimes that are committed for gain or revenge, there is not one that we have not seen it commit – murder, mayhem, arson, robbery, fraud, criminal collusion and connivance."

Say What?

So if you don't believe and regurgitate the police story, they will have you prosecuted? If you doubt or say anything contrary to "Their microphone" you will be hunted down? And prosecuted?
And the NRA wants these jokers to be at every school?
We don't need more State to fix the State. Come on, folks.
So is the 1st amendment null and void?

Gun control is gun violence

From Jim today:

If you advocate gun control, you are advocating gun violence...gun control IS gun violence.

"What you're advocating is, that the president should write on a piece of paper something that says, if you own one of these, you have to hand them over, and if you don't we're going to send men with guns to your house. Not just to take away your guns, (and by the way, they're going to have semi automatic rifles when they show up at your house) but to take you away and put you in a cage. Not because you did anything wrong, not because you threatened anybody, but because you owned a piece of hardware that the government didn't approve of. THAT IS GUN VIOLENCE! Every law is a threat backed by the ability and the willingness to use deadly force. The government isn't asking nicely. When they pass a gun law, they say, if you disobey this we put you in a cage. And we will use whatever level of force that it takes to get you in our custody and cage you, and if you resist, when we show up with guns, and you resist, we will shoot you. So if you're out there advocating gun control thinking that's peaceful and compassionate, think about what you're actually advocating. You're actually advocating that millions of people who haven't threatened or hurt anyone should be threatened with violence by men with guns for owning a thing...so, gun control is the euphemism for it, gun violence is what it actually is.

Since I am on the subject of SCUM..

Another brave SWAT invasion into a home, because they KNEW they had a meth lab. Wouldn't want to knock on the door would we SCUMBAGS.
And you KNEW there was a meth lab in the house because of your wonderful investigation but didn't know a family with 2 little girls lived there?
SCUM.
You used a grenade?
SCUM!
The sick part is how the story doesn't really condemn the SCUM in the story.
We are not on our way, we live in a total police state.
I am going to listen to Rothbard's "Do you hate the State"? again.

Flash bang grenade burns 12 year old girl.

Consider this, what did more damage to this girl, the supposed meth lab, or the state protecting her?

Will Grigg keeps exposing them for what they are, NAZIS

Another great expose from Will Grigg, and man not afraid to stand up to the state and tell the truth.
Screw those Nazis.
He's a Constitutionalist!!!! Oh the horror that must be.

Our "friends" in costumes

"You know, before this happened I trusted the police," Moore concludes in an ironic echo of the witness who saw him beaten and left for dead on the sidewalk. His experience is just one illustration – albeit an uncommonly infuriating one – of the fact that no informed and rational person should ever make that mistake.
