"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams

Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.

god demands child sacrifice

And that god, who's holy name is STATE, who claims to be the great WE ARE, at the behest of Its high priests, are now demanding, if you do not give your child in sacrifice to State, you must give other offerings, to show State your worship, and bless it for all that it gives you, everything you have, every liberty you know, including life itself.
This story, which I first read on Lew Rockwell, made me sick. But when I heard it on the radio on the top of the hour Fox news, it scared me, and what better day than the 4th of July?
Richard Maybury nailed it when he said we are no different than ancient Rome, we worship death, we worship power, we worship war, to the point of child sacrifice.
This is nothing more than complete obedience and fealty to the state. The state is these people's god.
You, serf, should feel remorse for having children that have not been sacrificed to State. You should feel guilty that none of your children are maimed for life, or dead, because that sacrifice would be to State, and there is no greater sacrifice than to State.
You better wake up. This will soon be a law no doubt. State has no fill of blood. State lusts after, and requires, blood.
Folks, we aren't talking about Revolutionaries fighting the king for Liberty, or fighting for your freedom.

We are talking about the endless war of Empire god/state.

My God, by comparison, said,  Love those who persecute you, and bless those that hate you.
Love your neighbor as yourself? Obviously, those brown people "over there" aren't our neighbors.
I wonder what color the good Samaritan was?

Sorry State, I do not worship you, I will not sacrifice to you. You cannot have my children.

I reject you, I despise you.

I HATE YOU!

Sick psychopaths saddened their children live.

Why don't these people just kill their children, and call it the ultimate sacrifice to State? I bet they would not be charged with any crime....

I read Gaddy's series of editorials about his son coming home from the ME every so often.

  2. A lot of kids I know from my home school Boy Scout troop went into the military. They'd been propagandized from birth by their military loving parents. Scouts was formed by Baden Powell to be sure that there was plenty of ready and capable cannon fodder for the British Empire, so I guess I should have expected it. I was surprised when a friend in the troop asked if we, as Christians, couldn't impart some higher goal to our sons than killing for D.C. At that point I hadn't yet seen the military as just one side of the welfare/warfare state, but eventually I saw the wisdom in his question, and it showed me an aspect of our failure as parents.

Empire gives people an "acceptable" outlet for their desire to exercise raw domination over other people -- no need for tedious due process for the lowly (fill in the dehumanizing term for the current target people). We don't have to wait for God, we can act on our own initiative, and by doing it via a State we can misquote Romans 13 to "sanctify" it and create a moral cut out so that we don't have to take responsibility for what we advocate. It is so much easier to kill them than to win them to Christ.

  3. I understand the hate part, but somehow what we resist, persists. Only love will prevail. Hate is the gap.

  4. I hate evil. Child sacrifice is evil. However, I want to fight evil with good, not with more evil.

  5. Ayn Rand had this to say about sacrifice: “Sacrifice is the surrender of a greater value for the sake of a lesser one or of a nonvalue...Sacrifice does not mean the rejection of the worthless, but of the precious".

Every military ad I have ever seen, heard or read tries to sell sacrifice as a virtue that only the best of us aspire to. This is no accident, it is to program the prowles to give their life for the political or financial advancement of a criminal class. I was one of those who went through scouts from age five to 18 and later joined the military. Thank God I had a back injury that sent me home from OCS.

A cop who gets hit and dies while issuing a traffic ticket on the side of the road has given the ultimate sacrifice-to collect a few bucks for the state. His sacrifice is glorified by the state in an attempt to validate his death for a worthless purpose while trying to recruit new, young revenue collectors. Meanwhile the business-man, who creates wealth and provides honest financial opportunities for all those around him, is evil in his selfishness, so revenue collectors, who make the sacrifice of "serving" their community and country must steal the business-man's property to be redistributed to the bureaucrats (who publish ads about the "virtue" of sacrifice).

AmeriKan's have been taught that sacrifice is the greatest virtue and that their society rests on the sacrifice of themselves to the state. How many investors have been successful with sacrifice as a practice? AmeriKans have sacrificed the pursuit of Liberty, a goal that multiplies itself, for the pursuit of security, a goal that is antithetical of itself (the more you seek it, the less you will have). In truth America failed at seeking liberty when it started. Sacrifice is, by its very nature, a bad deal. So AmeriKan's have been taught to value bad deals. That is why America is dead.
