"Posterity, you will never know how much it cost the present generation to preserve your freedom. I hope you will make good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that ever I took half the pains to preserve it." -John Adams

Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.
Please join us!

A discussion

Here is part of a discussion I am having. Well, aren't we all having this discussion in some fashion or another?

It is in response to this:

If you are going to put your faith in government for anything, including protecting your “rights” you will ultimately
be disappointed and a lot poorer.
James Madison, the so-called Father of the Constitution, said (from his reading of John Locke, the father of “property Rights”) that good government's only function is to protect property, and that was to be the end of good government. That’s it. He called any other function of the State unjust. Even here we have a problem, in that the State must first expropriate (Steal) a portion of that same property to provide the protection. The individual has no choice whether or not he wants or needs that protection.
Even small government conservatives offer the same thing as the big government liberals, the State.
Having local control of tax money further obfuscates the real question, are taxes moral, or are they just theft, whether a huge government forces you to pay them, or a tiny local government? It still comes down to theft, a minority stealing from one to spend the way they want for the “good of all.”
That’s what I say is crap.
We should not want state control of our public schools, we should abolish them.  Limited government is a fallacy.
Government is force and violence that the individual would be locked up for if he tried the same things government does.
Government = Force/violence/theft
Limited government = limited force/violence/theft?
So that is the better option? Are we as individuals able to “opt out”? No matter how close to home a local government is, it will still spend money in ways that some find immoral. So who decides how the tax(theft) money is spent? A majority? Who decides if that allocation of the theft is moral? The majority?
Then you are back to square one, majority, mob rule, where the rights of the minority are crushed.

"Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits
drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law',
because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the
 individual."
 Thomas Jefferson

How many “Constitutional conservatives” do you know actually believe that? Even small government advocates have plenty of duties they think the government needs to perform.

And none of these things answers the first problem. If the Founders of this Country said that government's only role in society was to protect property, (John Locke said the only reason people come to form society is for the protection of property) then how can we defend any other role the State has decided in its wisdom to control?
The State is not your friend, it is your enemy, whether large, small, limited or otherwise. It should be abolished at every level.

This idea is not un-American, as the government is not America.

It is the essence of Liberty.

Fuuuuhhhhhhhtttball... :-)

Did you think this would be funny cause I put a smiley face in the title?

The systematic thwarting, simply put – of a normal man’s inclination to be a man.
The average man has virtually no real control over his life in modern America. He must Submit and Obey at every turn, from the moment he awakes to the moment he lays his head down on the pillow at night. He must never raise his voice, at work or in public. He must avoid confrontation at all costs. (This lesson, in particular, is really being hammered home to today’s boys – who are told in no uncertain terms by the authorities that they cannot even defend themselves when attacked by a bully. And the boys’ fathers are told they must teach them to accept this.)
He stews in silent, impotent fury as a cop half his age lectures him about “buckling up for safety” in front of his kids. Or as he submits to having his wife and kids get fondled by useless-eater (and probably pedophilic) blue-shirted poltroons at the airport. He must put up with being told what to do – and even worse, what not to do – by smarmy little busybodies, stretchpants-wearing fraus. From the PTA to the DMV to the HOA, he is hectored and hemmed in at every turn.
He probably can’t even paint his own damn house without first begging permission from the local Gertrud Schlotz-Klink… and if he doesn’t beg permission first, the old bag will just make a call. A lien or some other encumbrance will be put on his place. Or, the thug scrum will come. So, he surrenders. He Submits… and Obeys. He Does What He is Told. And along the way, he becomes something less than a man. At some gut level, he knows it, too. And the rage boils within him, silently, helplessly… .
He feels emasculated – because he has been emasculated.

Revoluuuuuution!

Wow.
What is going on? Obama won the election folks, fair and square. Oh, but you are mad? Why? You espouse democracy, you participated in it (HELLOOO you voted) and now because your majority didn't win, the system is broke? Hmm.
I don't know what to think. We here have been going on and on about the system and how you should NOT participate in it, you insisted we were stupid, now you gambled and lost, and you're mad?
Praise God! We had one more opinion in transition of power and it happened again without civil war! Isn't that great?
You want to tell me that YOU HAVE TO VOTE and when it doesn't pan out the way you want, you want to fight?
Voting = gambling. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Here is the part you have refused to understand.
Voting.
You ALWAYS lose and the State ALWAYS wins.
Did the State have anything to lose whether Obama won, or Romney won?
Or is it a win/win for the State?
You want a revolution now? (insert mocking) constitution and democracy.
Quit your griping. Own up to what you have been propping up. You made your bed, sleep in it.
And you Christians?
And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day.
Get over it.
You chose your god, live with it. His name is democracy.
You cling to a constitution, where did it stop this from happening?
HA, you don't even know what it stood for in the first place. You still think it gave you rights.
Robama, he means nothing to me.
Still the same state, still the same master, still the same serfs.
Revolution? You don't even have a clue what it means. And even in your definition, you won't do a thing. You haven't yet, you think you can justify it now because of a vote you participated in and therefore is justified?
The American Revolution was not a common event. Its effects and consequences have already been awful over a great part of the globe. And when and where are they to cease? But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was effected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments of their duties and obligations. ... This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people, was the real American Revolution.
John Adams

Let's talk when you can tell me what he actually meant.

Otherwise, quit your griping and face the consequences of your choice. Democracy comes with a price, it's time to pay.

How some see the U.S. elections

I bet these kids would like some hope and change from the U.S. government even more than the serfs that voted yesterday.

Tuesday, November 6, 2012

What now, Republican party?

You had your chance with a Champion of Liberty, you shot him down and mocked him, you knew best and told us who we had to choose.
We said no.
You got what you deserved.
Ron Paul was your last chance.
You blew it.
You mocked us.
Now the people who Love Liberty mock you.

Voting Is Violence

From Rev. Emmanuel Charles McCarthy on Lew Rockwell.

Once one has the office, and is vested in the myth and the mystique and the moral validation that go with it, he or she cannot only torment, torture and kill other people, he or she can make the laws that validate the agony and slaughter he or she is pouring down on others. Hitler did nothing illegal, which is why U.S., England, France and Russia had to create the trumped-up ex post facto law – so called crimes against humanity – to convict and kill Hitler’s cabinet and military officers. Hitler saw to it that everything he did was legal by simply creating the laws he needed to legalize what he wanted to do. A contemporary local example of this process would be the Patriot Act in the United States.
President William Clinton kills 400,000 children under twelve years of age in Iraq, his Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, says on national television that this most grotesque form of child abuse "was worth it." Yet, neither one is in prison nor in the electric chair. Why?
No one is born with the right to kill 400,000 children. Yet, President Clinton, and to a lesser extent King Herod, killed children with abandon. From whence comes their right to do this. Clinton’s right to kill children came from being elected President. Herod’s right came from his being the son of a King. That is it! Human beings endowing human beings with the right to kill human beings is what the divine right of kings, drawing straws or elections are all about. If either Obama or Romney were not going to be endowed, if elected President, with the same right to use violence against their fellow human beings that Clinton and Herod had would anyone beyond their family, friends and acquaintances care a jot about what these two guys had to say?
Given the choice would Jesus have voted for Herod or Pilate or neither? In governmental elections is there ever anyone to vote for but Herod or Pilate? Since the make-believe lesser of two evils standard is still evil, why not just write-in "Lucifer" as your vote?

I pledge blind allegiance!

The guys at Blimey cow do it again. HAHAHA!!

Evil Iranians! Evil!

I saw this over at Arctic Patriot's blog.
Evil Iran
AP says, "While I hold my breath in anticipation of the outpouring of support from our so-called "allies", Iran is displaying an ironically Biblical ability to heap burning coals upon our head."
Haha, how true. Don't hold your breathe too long AP. :-)

The comments section had a few things that bothered me. Here are my thoughts.

Obviously I think this is another reason to Nuke them. How dare they offer to help us?
Just because in the 50s we instituted a murdering Shah and trained and backed his police, just because we helped Iraq, (Whoops, didn't we put that guy in and take that guy out, too?) to kill and maim hundreds of thousand of Iranians, doesn't mean they should be mad at us. Don't they read their bible? The one that says "Love your enemies, and pray for those that persecute you"? Oh wait, that's "our bible."
The American people are so brainwashed; on one hand we don't trust anything they say domestically because they are out to steal our Liberty, but when it's a war, for some reason the guvment can tell no lies, they are only there to protect us.
BAH!
I have no love for Islam, but I sure as heck don't swallow the military industrial complex's lies to send Americans off to die for another trillion $ profit margin.
Governments love war, they GROW BIGGER with every one.
As far as Ron Paul, I would say his theory of BLOWBACK is about as close to Right as any theory I have read. And his theory of non-intervention is spot on with the "Founders" of this nation. But what did they know? HAH, if Jesus was here today, He would nuke them too. Never mind the Christian Iranians that would die...
And to the whole slave mentality of the State, and the collective "We."
Who is "us?" Aid "us"? Who are "they" and "them"?
They, them, us, ours, theirs, who's, how's, what the heck does that mean?
Are we all humans or not? Are we really so silly that we let the farmers (government) of "our" farm control us to the point where we are "us?" Or them?
Can't we see the invisible lines we draw to separate "our" "nations" are just political means of control and violence? "These are our milk cows, go milk your own."
Who benefits from the imaginary lines of "nations?" Certainly not the people. Only "my" government can abuse me?!!
I am not an us. When the government goes to war, I don't. That's them. When this government murders and tortures, that's not me, that's them. I am not an us.
I am an individual, not a we. I don't consent, participate, relate or even associate myself to the U.S. government.
It's not mine.I have no earthly Kings or Priests.

There are no Democrats or Republicans during a storm,

Obama was actually telling the truth here. Only the part he left out was this, "there is only the state."
Romney is praising Chris Christie for his heart and compassion. Chris Christie is doing press releases with Janet Napolitano. You know? The head of Homeland security? TSA? And he praised Obama for his efforts in the aftermath of the storm.
These guys all have pretty big hearts.

Why not? None of the money going to help the people who have a loss from the storm is coming from any of them. They steal it from other people and give it away and then take credit for giving the money away.
What about the victims of the theft, you and me? Shouldn't we get at least a hallmark card?
It is absolutely amazing to me that ANYONE would be suckered into thinking any of these scum are "giving people with big hearts." They risk nothing, and give nothing that they have not stolen.
The biggest thing to take away from this storm, is that there truly is no right or left, republican or democrat.
They are all the same entity, the state.
Playing a huge facade that there is an ounce of difference between them and using the serfs for their mutual gain.
This November 6th, let your vote be NO!

Do not give your consent to these despicable lying thieves.

Thursday, November 1, 2012

You are still free to choose no...

When will we choose Liberty rather than a change of the slave master?

When will we choose Liberty and Justice for all?

When will we decide as freemen, No Kings, No Priests?

You had better seriously think before you go vote this Tuesday. You will be held responsible.

Get off your KNEES!

Patriot's Lament September 29, 2012: That Is Not Principle and Nobody Has The Right

In this episode we discuss freedom of conscience, and what is more of a duty, to vote for an election of a president, or the vote of a juror to nullify law? We talk about Patrick Henry and his "Liberty or Death" speech. We also defend Occupy Fairbanks' Right to Protest the government, and how Jefferson said he would rather see a little rebellion even when wrong than a complacent people.

Rep. Peter King: Presidential Kill List "Totally Constitutional"

This guy is such a piece of crap. You always hear from the talking NEOCON heads about what a "Conservative" this joker is.
This guy needs his head examined. And put in a mental institute.
I shouldn't say that, he's a good bible believing christian man!
PHHFFFT! Bull.
He's nothing but a murderer.
And don't fool yourself in thinking this is ok, cause it's just for those brown people, the Weavers found out the State believes this for all SERFS, when 14 year old Sammy "just happened to be there" when he was shot in the back, or when Vicki "just happened to be there" when she was shot in the face, or the children at Waco who "just happened to be there" when the FEDS burned them alive.
That's acceptable to these worthless pieces of dog crap.
I have no use for them at all. "Run the bums out" and don't replace them.

Special Guest Bob Murphy on Patriot's Lament - October 20, 2012

In this hour we have as our special guest Robert Murphy. Bob talks to us about his non debate with Krugman, the chicken, and then talks to us about private society, and how private defense could work and how much more ethical that would be instead of the State being the monopoly of protection.

Special Guest Lew Rockwell on Patriot's Lament - October 13, 2012

In this episode we have as our guest the "Libertarian Gentleman" himself, Lew Rockwell.
What more needs to be said? Thanks to Lew Rockwell for being our guest, it was awesome!

Back to top: Patriot's Lament December 10th 2011, Bury the myth of nullification!!!

I was listening to this today and decided to repost it. Get it out of your head. There is no Santa Claus, tooth fairy, or State nullification.
This is a total police State.

Patriot's Lament September 22, 2012: Ram It Down Their Throat and Chip Away Legitimacy

In this episode we talk about the U.S. government's foreign policy, and we ask "what would Jesus do"? We talk about the Mennonites leaving the US and we talk more about lending legitimacy to the State.

Shame on you!!

Today a caller to our show called to say,"Shame on you, we are the most free people in the world, and you are badmouthing America"!!
We answered that no, we love America, but we Hate the State. There is a big difference.
So I thought I would post this article by Bob Higgs, from Lew Rockwell.com.

"I hold myself second to none in my adoration of the amber waves of grain and the purple mountain majesties. I revere the ideal that this nation should serve as a beacon of freedom to the world and a refuge for its huddled masses yearning to breathe free. I weep with pride each time I watch the ailing Lou Gehrig tell the crowd at Yankee Stadium, “Today I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of this earth.” I don’t blame these beautiful, decent, and admirable aspects of America in the least for the chronic failure of U.S. foreign and defense policy to serve the general public interest.
With regard to the fools, mountebanks, unscrupulous opportunists, and psychopaths who have long played the greatest roles in devising and implementing U.S. foreign and defense policy, however, I hold a quite different and decidedly less favorable opinion."

Patriot's Lament September 15, 2012: Why Did You Not Vote and Power Creates Evil

In this episode Aaron asks Steve to tell the reason why he decided not to vote in the last local elections here in Fairbanks. The discussion revolves around participation in the State and then someone calls to ask why the Bennett brothers haven't "renounced" their citizenship.

Robert Murphy

Tomorrow in the 10 am (Alaska time) hour we have as a special guest, Robert Murphy!!

Robert is a adjunct scholar with the Mises Institute, and writes for Lew Rockwell.com among other things.
He is a senior fellow with the Pacific research institute, and was the visiting assistant professor of economics for Hillsdale college. He has also testified before U.S. house committee on Financial Services.
He is the author of the books "the politically incorrect guide to capitalism" and the essay " Chaos theory" among several other awesome books.
Bob is going to talk with us about economics, the presidential debates,(but not like any commentary you will hear from the pundits,) Chaos theory, private defense and security as well in a society with out the inefficiencies and monopolies of the State.

Don't miss it.
