Welcome to Patriot's Lament. We strive here to educate ourselves on Liberty. We will not worry ourselves so much with the daily antics of American politics, and drown ourselves in the murky waters of the political right or left.
Instead, we will look to the Intellectuals and Champions of Liberty, and draw on their wisdom of what it is to be a truly free people. We will learn from where our Providential Liberties are derived, and put the proper perspective of a Free Individual and the State.

What now, Republican party?



You had your chance with a Champion of Liberty, you shot him down and mocked him, you knew best and told us who we had to choose.
We said no.
You got what you deserved.
Ron Paul was your last chance.
You blew it.
You mocked us.
Now the people who Love Liberty mock you.

    I'm sad that I won't have the opportunity to disabuse my Republican friends of the notion that Romney would have been somehow significantly different from Obama. No doubt watching them contort to justify what Romney was doing would have been good entertainment.

    As you point out, the Rs were intent on taking NOT killing lots of people off the table, even if that meant destroying the country.
